CAT PURCHASE PROCEDURE

The consequences of a positive decision to purchase a kitten and contact with the breeder are:

• reservation – which means informing the breeder about the intention to purchase a kitten and paying a deposit (then the reservation information appears on the kitten in the kittens tab) and then
• signing the contract – in two copies, according to which the acquisition takes place (ideally, both points are done simultaneously during a visit to the cattery – in practice, the contract is usually signed after the reservation);
• collection of the kitten (after reaching a minimum of 14 weeks of age) along with the payment of the remaining amount – eternal love and a happier life with the new family member.

PRICE* OF A RUSSIAN BLUE CAT

The price of neutered/spayed Russian Blue kittens is currently 4000 PLN. It depends on many factors – waiting time, expenses, number of kittens in the litter, etc. In the case of reservation before birth, the price is 4000.00 PLN, after birth – 4100.00 PLN, regardless of the gender. Additionally, the cost of neutering must be added: 400.00 PLN for a female, 220.00 PLN for a male. The price of kittens from external matings (a stud cat from outside the cattery, e.g., American litter) may be higher!

When selling two kittens to one home or another kitten to the same home (adding another cat), I provide discounts, a minimum of 100.00 PLN from the price.

The price of kittens for breeding is determined individually, depending on the pedigree, the kitten’s prospects, and restrictions, starting from 10,000.00 PLN and up.

CONTRACT CONTENT

The content of the contract depends on several factors: the parents of the litter, the expectations of the caretaker, the selected purchase option, and other circumstances. The contract for sterilized/neutered kittens may allow for showing the kittens, depending on the caretaker’s decision. In the case of breeding kittens, breeding restrictions may appear. Before signing, it is adjusted to current needs and sent by email for acceptance or negotiation.

OPTIONS FOR PURCHASING A RUSSIAN BLUE CAT

Kittens are sold in two options:

• sterilized/neutered (so-called “for pet”) – in which case the procedure is performed in the cattery at an additional cost to the caretaker (male – 220 PLN, female – 400 PLN);
• breeding – reserved for the best-looking kittens (maximum 2 from the litter). In the case of choosing a breeding kitten from a given litter, the breeder has priority over all others regardless of the order of reservations, similarly in the case of adding another cat or two kittens to one home.

NOTE! Not all litters/kittens will be intended for breeding!

BREEDING VISITS

I encourage those undecided and interested in purchasing, especially those reserving, to personally visit the cattery Szara Eminencja*PL. The condition for visits is health (no symptoms of infectious diseases)!

The visit is a natural opportunity to talk, get to know the cats, play with the kittens, and complete the sales procedure. Observing the growing characters helps make the decision to choose… sometimes a little Russian Blue’s personality and charm will captivate new caretakers, deciding for them! I believe it’s worth it, so I sincerely encourage you and, on behalf of myself and the cats, invite you!

REQUIREMENTS

The absolute requirement is a serious and solemn declaration of eternal love and devotion, as well as constant and daily respect, care, and tenderness!

FREEBIES AND EXTRAS

In addition to the starter kit, instructions for introducing the cat to the new home (also in the case of adding a new resident or group), a support group on Facebook for caretakers of Szare Eminencja, as well as the Adding Another Cat group, the most important addition is a mentor, whose technical and substantive support is provided when purchasing a cat from our cattery regardless of the time of day or night.

As a COAPE behaviorist, I also provide care for the behavior of the Eminences in their new homes, if necessary. Lifetime and as part of the purchase price of the cat.

Sometimes it is possible to adopt an older cat from the cattery, whose breeding career has ended for various reasons. If interested in an older cat, please contact us. Currently, this year’s plans include adopting a pair of young cats – a male and a female.
